Coronavirus Update – January 2021
As we are sure you are aware, there is a new, more infectious variant of Coronavirus sweeping across the UK, and we have now moved up to the highest COVID-19 Alert Levels. Due to the impact of this, both primary and secondary schools in Wales are to remain closed until Monday 18th January.
We understand that this is an extremely concerning time for agency workers as your employment opportunities are restricted. We want to assure you that we are again working tirelessly alongside our Finance Department to ensure that any information provided to you is clear, compliant, and most importantly, correct.
We are able to confirm that MPS Education will be offering Furlough to all eligible workers, providing they meet the criteria as set out by the Government. At this time, we are continuing to work extremely hard to ensure that this is implemented as promptly as possible and all workers eligible for the scheme will be contacted in due course.
As and when we have it, we will continue to share advice and information across both our social media accounts and website, so make sure you are following us to be kept up to date.
